Non-Road

Peugeot Citroën Moteurs diesel and petrol engines are easily adapted to Non-Road applications, whether industrial or agricultural equipment, marine equipment or stationary applications.

From whatever viewpoint, their advantages are manifold:

For the OE manufacturer of industrial machinary:

OE designs benefit from the downsizing process set in place in the Automotive Industry

Their volume-to-power ratio means they can be installed on the smallest machines. It is possible to develop a complete range of machines thanks to the wide range of diesel, petrol, LPG and CNG versions.

Because of their low emission levels, it is possible to minimize the need of after-treatment systems, which can be difficult to install. Low engine noise levels limit the need for bulky noise shields.

For the owner of the machine:

Benefiting from the advantages of an outstanding Total Usage Cost allowed by the large-scale engine and spare parts production.

Operating costs are minimized thanks to low fuel consumption.

Reliability has been proven on the millions of engines already sold and through the implementation of quality procedures on up to 15,000 engines produced per day.

For the operator

Reduced noise and vibration levels minimize operator fatigue.

For the environment

Depending on the application, it is possible, even for 2013 industrial emission standards (US EPA Tier 4 final), to incorporate our perfected diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology or – in view of the reduced raw emission levels of the PSA Common Rail engines – to comply without the use of a DPF

A few examples of applications

Lift trucks

The range of engines include diesel/petrol/ /LPG/CNG versions; their common packaging characteristics mean they can be easily installed on the same truck platform .

Their smaller dimensions make for easier installation; their high performance means they can replace engines having a much larger displacement.

Reduced noise and vibration levels improve operator comfort.

PCM’s experience with the most modern injection systems available means that their DV and DW family of diesel engines are able to conform with 2013 standards for power output up to 56 kW, in most cases without the need for a particulate filter.

Riding Lawn Mowers & Skid Steer Loaders

The machine exerts significantly less pressure on the ground due to the exceptional power-to-weight ratio of the Diesel DV engine and 2 family of petrol engines.

Installation is facilitated by reduced dimensions and the high performance level allows for the replacement of engines having a much higher displacement. Gas and diesel engines have the same mounting foot print facilitating gas or diesel variants in the same platform to conform to market conditions.

Petrol engines can operate on LPG and CNG fuels

Generating Sets

The engine range includes diesel/petrol/LPG/CNG versions having a number of common characteristics, which allows for the development of a complete range of Gensets.

The wide RPM range allows for the use of 2 and 4 pole, 50 and 60Hz alternators, even the development of variable speed Gensets.

The low noise level, whatever the operating rate, and compact size of the engines allow for considerable savings on the size of the noise shields to be installed.

Roadsweepers

The engine range includes diesel/petrol/LPG/CNG versions having a number of common characteristics allowing for their installation on the same model of sweepers.

Their smaller dimensions make for easier installation; their high-performance means they can replace engines having a much larger displacement.

Lower noise and vibration levels provide more comfort to the operator

Boats

A maximum power rating of 4,000 rpm provides the propeller with a wide operating range.

Compact and lightweight, PSA engines can be easily installed on all types of boats after an appropriate marine adaptation.

Silent operation and low fuel consumption offer undeniable advantages for the user.
