Peugeot Citroën Moteurs have signed in November 2010 a license agreement with AVTEC Limited, the largest independant manufacturer of power trains and transmissions in India.
AVTEC Limited is a part of C.K Birla group, whose interests are in major industrial segments such as automobile, powertrain for automobile or off highway, electrical appliances, building products, hospitals and educational institutions etc. Spanning over 4 continents and with a global revenue of over USD 2 billion, with interests across major industries, it is no doubt that AVTEC is a part of their rich legacy.
The license between Peugeot Citroën Moteurs and AVTEC deals with manufacturing and selling engines suitable for producing 15 to 30 KW Electric power for non automotive segment – genset. The AVTEC plant wich will produce these engines is based in Pithampur near Indore in India.

The first Peugeot Citroen Moteur's "OEM days" took place in late September at our premises in Nanterre.
An exhibition of automotive finished products and a treasures marquee gathering our range of engines and components attracted the attention of our visitors.
Each of them was received by a sales person attentive to his needs and expectations.
These meetings allowed us to move closer to our purpose : the satisfaction of our customers. Regarding the sucess of this event, we look foward to renewing the experience.
